Lasagna

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 48 oz spaghetti sauce
  • 15 oz ricotta
  • 3 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup grated parm
  • 2 tsp dried parsley or 4 tbsp fresh
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 lasagna noodles (uncooked)

Heat oven to 350 and spray a dish with oil

Cook beef and sausage in a skillet

Add garlic and sauce to meat

Mix ricotta, 2 cups mozzarella, parm, parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl

Assemble by adding a layer of sauce to the bottom of dish

Cover with 3 noodles

Top with 1/3 cheese mixture and 1/4 sauce

Repeat layers (noodles, cheese, sauce)

Top with 3 noodles, remaining sauce, and remaining 1 cup mozzarella

Spray a sheet of foil with cooking spray

Cover the dish with foil (sprayed side down)

Bake at 350 for 50 minutes

Uncover and bake for 10

Serve and top with fresh parsley
