Sourdough English muffins

(10 servings 161 calories and 32 carbs each)

  • 100 g sourdough starter
  • 20 g honey
  • 240 g milk
  • 360 g flour
  • 5 g sea salt

Add all ingredients to a bowl and let sit for one hour

After an hour knead by hand for about five minutes

Let dough rest for 8-12 hours

After dough rests flour a surface and roll out dough

Use a round cutter (a cup also works) to cut out circles

Add cuts to a lined pan and let rise for one hour

After an hour heat a skillet and add a few cuts at a time

Cover and cook 4 minutes per side

Do this until all muffins are fully cooked

Store in the fridge
