Burger bowls

Ground beef

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika

Caramelized onion

  • 1 onion
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Diced potatoes (season to taste)

  • Potatoes diced (one per person)
  • Olive oil
  • Minced garlic
  • Salt and pepper
  • Onion powder
  • Paprika

Sauce (half this recipe for 2-3 people) (season to taste)

  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp coconut aminos (or soy sauce)
  • 1 tbsp dill pickle relish
  • 1 tsp pickle juice
  • Salt and pepper
  • Paprika
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder

toppings

  • avocado
  • Tomato
  • Lettuce
  • Pickles
  • Shredded cheese
  • Bacon (optional)

Start by making your sauce (add all ingredients to a bowl and mix) (you can do this in advance)

Combine potatoes with oil and seasonings then transfer to a parchment lined baking sheet

Bake at 400 for 25 minutes

Chop onion into desired size (for caramelizing)

Add oil to and onion to a pan and let caramelize over medium heat

While your onion is cooking cook ground beef

Once browned add seasonings

To assemble bowls add potatoes, ground beef, and cheese to a bowl first (so the cheese will melt)

Add remaining toppings of choice and sauce drizzled on top
