Angel hair with Alfredo sauce

  • 8 oz angel hair cooked 2 mins less than package instructions
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream (or half milk)
  • 3/4 cup fresh grated parm
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Onion powder to taste
  • 1/2 cup pasta water

Add butter to a skillet over medium heat and melt

Add garlic and cook until fragrant

Add flour and make a light roux for a couple minutes

Add cream and simmer until slightly thickened (2 minutes)

Add Parmesan and seasonings

Mix until fully melted

Add pasta and mix

Add in the pasta water as needed (might not use all)
