Healthy honey wheat and flax biscuit (one serving)

  • 1/4 cup whole wheat flour (30 grams)
  • 1 tsp ground flaxseed
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 2 tbsp Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 2 tsp milk

Mix flour, flaxseed, baking powder, and salt in a bowl

Add butter, Greek yogurt, honey, and milk and mix until combined

Roll into a ball and add to a parchment lined baking sheet

Bake at 400 for 15 minutes

Let the biscuit cool a little before slicing

Slice in half and add butter, egg, cheese, bacon or sausage to make a breakfast sandwich

(Optional dip in honey or jelly)
