*For when making meatballs feels like a hassle and you wanna throw everything in one skillet*
Ingredients:
- Olive oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion diced
- Minced garlic
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 15 ounce can tomato sauce
- 1 14 ounce can diced tomatoes
- 1 1/2 cups water or broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp maple syrup or brown sugar
- 1/2 cup rice
- Parmesan to taste
Instructions:
Add beef and onion to a large pot over medium heat
Cook through and add garlic cook until fragrant
Then season with all seasonings listed including Worcestershire and maple syrup
Add rice, tomato sauce, crushed tomatoes, and water/broth
Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook on low 25 minutes
Take the lid off and continue cooking until slightly thickened
Turn off heat and add shredded Parmesan
Serve with extra Parmesan on top and your favorite sides
