- 1 15 oz can whole kernel corn, drained well
- 1/2 cup creamed corn
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornmeal
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- Oil for frying
Drain the whole kernel corn really well and pat dry with paper towels
Then add all ingredients to a bowl and mix everything together until combined
Batter should be thick and scoopable
Fry corn nuggets (scoop your desired size) or place batter in the fridge for later
